Package Pricing

Dr. Kim offers a package price to make facial plastic surgery more economical for our patients, particularly when more than one procedure is being considered. This price includes:

  • Practice fee
  • Facility fee
  • Anesthesia fee

Advance Payment Policy

To reserve a surgery date, a nonrefundable 10% of the total surgery costs is required with the remainder balance paid in full at least two weeks prior to the surgery date. Our written estimate will provide you with information regarding the fees and charges that are due at that time. For added payment flexibility, you may seek financing through reputable lenders such as CareCredit.

Insurance Coverage and Partial Coverage

Dr. Kim will explain whether he believes that your surgery would meet criteria for insurance coverage. If this is the case, then it is important to find out in advance if your policy requires a second opinion or pre-certification for your procedure. Our billing specialists may be able to help you navigate this process. Generally, insurance companies will not cover plastic surgery procedures performed solely for cosmetic purposes.

However, occasionally there are procedures that address cosmetic components and functional issues during the same operation. In those cases, your insurance may cover the functional portion of the procedure while the remaining cosmetic procedure will be an out-of-pocket expense.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

I hope this update finds all of you safe and healthy. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we are limiting appointments to those that are necessary only (lacerations or emergencies that do not require a visit to the ER, immediate post-operative patients, etc.). We are still answering calls and email inquiries, so feel free to reach out with any questions or urgent requests. We are also offering virtual consultations via FaceTime or Skype to get your process started until we can see you preoperatively. Although these are difficult decisions, we feel this is important for the good of our community, our patients and their families. If you are currently scheduled to come into the office in the next few weeks, our Patient Care Specialist will be in touch with you regarding the status of your appointment or surgery.

This is an incredibly fluid and evolving situation, but we will return to our normal operations when it is safe to do so. We really appreciate your patience. Just remember that we are all in this together and that we will get through this.
